This bookshelf made by renowned British manufacturer Ercol has great character and would be a standout conversation piece amongst any furniture or setting that it is placed in.
The upper section has a base and three ample-sized shelves that could easily house a collection of novels and books on display. Below is a small drawer and cupboard that adds some extra out-of-sight storage. Originally this would have been part of a larger modular unit, hence the narrower cupboard at the base.
We have restored this lovely bookshelf by stripping back the old and tired finish and applying a clear lacquer that is strong and robust and brings out the quality of the grain and gives a long-lasting finish.
With its unusual design, this bookcase is sure to add some style and character to any room in the home.
