This is a remarkable colonial style, teak, art deco bureau. As you can see the bureau has a unique appearance, with its inset moulded handles and elegant decorative trim.
Inside there is an arrangement of pigeon holes and a drawer that are all in immaculate condition. There are three drawers below the writing desk and spacious cupboards, with shelves, at either end for all your storage needs.
We have professionally restored this bureau by stripping back the old dark surface and re-lacquering to emphasize the rich tones of the natural teak and give the piece an attractive but durable finish.
As you can see from pictures there is some slight damage where someone has forced the lock, but this can hardly be seen. Overall this is an exceptionally rare bureau that is in superb condition and will add a touch of style and elegance to any traditional or modern space.
